Formula 1 - Grand Prix du Canada 2017
Date/Location : June 8 - 11, 2017 / Circuit Jacques Villeneuve - Montreal
Set on the temporary Gilles Villeneuve Circuit of Ile de Notre Dame, the Canadian Grand Prix is one of the season highlights. In the beautiful city of Montréal, the race constitutes a time-out in the European races and the locals thoroughly welcome Formula 1 from one year to the next. More info here
Mobil 1 Sportscar Grand Prix
Date/Location : July 6-9, 2017 / Bowmanville, ON
Canada’s biggest sports car race of the year, the Mobil 1 SportsCar Grand Prix, features the IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship for exotic prototype and GT race cars, in their only north-of-the-border stop. Also in action over the four day event is the Continental Tire SportsCar Challenge, IMSA Prototype Lites presented by Mazda and many more.More info here.
2017 Honda Indy Toronto
Date/Location:July 14 – 16, 2017 /Exhibition Place - Toronto
Featuring racing at a combination of superspeedways, short ovals, road courses and temporary street circuits, the IndyCar Series offers its international lineup of drivers the most diverse challenges in motorsports. The Honda Indy Toronto features a 2.84 km (1.755 mile), 11-turn temporary street course located in downtown Toronto, Ontario. The track is constructed throughout and around Exhibition Place grounds and utilizes Lake Shore Boulevard as the backstretch. More info here
Nascar Camping World Truck Series
Chevrolet Silverado 250
Date/Location: September 3 - 4, 2017 / Canadian Tire Motorsport Park - Bowmanville, Ontario
The NASCAR Camping World Truck Series returns for its only Canadian appearance for the Chevrolet Silverado 250. This year, the event takes place one week prior to its traditional Labour Day Weekend date. More info here
Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg
Date/Location : March 10-12, 2017 / Saint Petersburg, Florida
The Firestone Grand Prix of St. Petersburg is a Verizon IndyCar Series race held in St. Petersburg, Florida. Since 2009, the race has served as the season opener, with the exception of 2010, when it was the second race of the season (but the first on U.S. soil). The race is held annually in the spring, currently in March. More info here.
12 Hours of Sebring
Date/Location : March 15-18, 2017 / Sebring International Raceway
The 12 Hours of Sebring is an annual motorsport endurance race for sports cars held at Sebring International Raceway, on the site of the former Hendricks Army Airfield World War II air base in Sebring, Florida. The event is the second round of the United SportsCar Championship and in the past has been a round of the now defunct World Sportscar Championship, IMSA GT Championship and American Le Mans Series. In 2012, the race was the opening event of the FIA World Endurance Championship. More info here.
IndyCar Long Beach
Date/Location: April 7-9, 2017 / Long Beach, CA
The Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach is an open-wheel race held on a street circuit in Long Beach, California. Christopher Pook is the founder of the event, which began as a vision while working at a travel agency in downtown Long Beach. It was the premier circuit in Champ Car from 1996-2008. The 2008 race was the last for Champ Cars as the series merged with the Indy Racing League.It is now an event on the IndyCar Series calendar. More info here.
Date/Location: May 25-28, 2017 / Indianapolis, IN
The event, billed as The Greatest Spectacle in Racing, is considered part of the Triple Crown of Motorsport, which comprises three of the most prestigious motorsports events in the world. The official attendance is not disclosed by Speedway management, but the permanent seating capacity is upwards of 250,000, and infield patrons raise the race-day attendance to approximately 300,000. Sonoma Historic Motorsports Festival
Date/Location : June 1-4, 2017 / Sonoma, CA
The challenging Sonoma Raceway facility is located in Sonoma, California. The 12-turn course opened in 1968 and features elevation changes, fast sweeping turns, and the challenging carousel. This event offers a wide variety of pre and post-race activities. The track’s proximity to Sonoma and Napa wine regions makes it a popular destination for competitors and race fans alike. Toyota NHRA Sonoma Nationals
Date/Location : July 28-30, 2017 / Sonoma Raceway, CA
In the heart of Northern California’s wine country, the facility annually plays host to some of the tour’s most dramatic moments. The event usually has pleasant weather that aids in impressive performances, such as the sport’s second six-second Pro Stock Motorcycle pass in 2005. It is the middle leg of the Western Swing and the site of the NHRA Pro Bike Battle special event. More info here.
Monterey Motorsport Reunion

Described as a museum springing to life, the Rolex Monterey Motorsports Reunion is the largest event held during the famed Monterey Classic Car Week, and is the only event where cars are doing what they were originally intended to do … race. Approximately 550 race cars are accepted from more than 1,000 entry applications to compete in the world’s premier motoring event. More info here.

Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance

Date/Location: September 15, 2017 / Sonoma Raceway, CA
An IndyCar Series race held at Sonoma Raceway in Sonoma, California. The USAC Championship Car circuit raced at the circuit in 1970. In 2005, American open wheel racing returned to the circuit with an IndyCar Series event. The 2006 event saw rookie Marco Andretti win his first career race. It marked the record youngest winner (19 years, 5 months, 14 days) of a major open-wheel racing event at the time. More info here.
Continental Monterey Grand Prix Powered by Mazda

The IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship moves from its recent spring date back to its traditional late-season slot on Mazda Raceway’s major event schedule, Sept. 21-24, which occurs during the official beginning of the fall season. The action among the prototype and GT sports cars during the Continental Tire Monterey Grand Prix will be just as intense in its new time slot, perhaps even more so since it will again be the penultimate round of the championship chase.More infohere.
Petit Le Mans

Motul Petit Le Mans (French for little Le Mans) is a sports car endurance race held annually at Road Atlanta in Braselton, Georgia, USA. It uses the rules established for the 24 hours of Le Mans by the Automobile Club de l'Ouest (ACO), which are slightly modified if necessary, mainly to allow additional cars to compete.More infohere.
World Challenge Laguna Seca

The final event of the 2017 major event season will again be the Pirelli World Challenge season finale, set for Oct. 12-15. Nearly 20 manufacturers will compete in eight Grand Touring (GT) and Touring Car (TC) classes in a sprint-race format. More infohere.
